I took a 6 day trip to Tenerife in September, accompanied by one of my girlfriends. This was my first time visiting Tenerife and I thoroughly enjoyed my trip. We stayed in Playas Las Americas which is generally known as the lively area, but it was the perfect mix of turn up and relaxation. You're probably thinking how right? Lol well there are plenty of clubs and bars to get white girl wasted in, but the beach is very serene, as well as the hotel pools (depending on where you stay). So we pretty much spent half of our trip off the liquor, and the other half relaxing - sort of anyway. We hit up a few different bars during our time there; you tend to bar hop depending on where is popping at the time, and because they do great entry deals on drinks lol.

The first club we went to was "Tramps, The King Of Clubs" which is a three roomed club with two bars, playing a range of different genres. One of the rooms appears to be a separate bar as it even has it's own sign "Cocobongo" however this is still apart of Tramps. If you've read my Cancun post you'll know I'm a little bit obsessed with their club Cocobongo, and as the logo is actually the same I believed this was affiliated with Cancun's. However after stepping inside I realised this was not the case and was nothing but a branding idea lol. It was a small sized bar with a dj playing hip hop, r&b and then lots of cheesy club classics, oh and several poles and podiums if that's your thing. The second room appears to be the main room due to the size, however this didn't open until after 3am which was rather disappointing, as this was the room that focused on "urban" music. However it was worth the short time we spent in there as the dj played tunes. From Mr Eazi to Yxng Bane, he knew his shit.

The second place we went to was a "Linekers" bar I believe. We were haggled into going there by a rep, who mentioned cheap cocktails and Dennis G doing a set (the guy that done Sambuca - Garage classic) and well if you know me you'll know I love me some UK garage so I was easily sold. This bar was, well, an experience. It started off all good and well, they were playing all the old garage classics so I was very much in my element. Except the club had a lot of overfamiliar men that liked to bother you whilst you were simply tryna live your best life lol. Annnnnd then we were shown a sign that said "get your tits out" but we just laughed this off thinking it was bants. Only to turn around and see two girls stripped almost naked dancing on the poles. Lol these were two random girls on a night out that got trigger happy and decided to casually get their tits out. At that point we knew it was time to return to tramps cause this wilderness wasn't for us lol.

On our last night we went to Jumping Jacks which seemed to be the hotspot, so it's a shame we didn't discover it until our last night. The only downfall about this club I found was that people smoked inside, specifically the bartenders. I'm not a fan of cigarette smoke at all so this made my experience less enjoyable. Despite this, I must say the club is lit. The dj knows his stuff, played multiple diff genres from hip hop to bashment to house; we were well catered for.

There are quite a few beach clubs that you can visit during the day, some more chilled than others. We went to one called Kaluna beach club which is closer to Costa Adeje so we took a taxi. We went here for a specific day party that was on, our tickets were bought online prior to going however you can also pay at the door. This place slyly gave me ocean beach vibes (if you've been Ibiza then you know), except it was slightly more chilled and well less fun, for me personally lol. This was mainly due to the fact that the music played was almost all house, and some jazz or some shit like that. Despite this it was a nice spot to visit, and for those that love house it'll be right up your street. There is another beach club right at the end of the strip called Papagoyo, which i've heard is good; however we didn't go so I cannot give my honest opinion.

On our second to last day we visited Siam Park, which has apparently become the best waterpark in the world - according to tripadvisor. I haven't been to many waterparks so I cannot confirm whether or not this is the best, but what I can say is that this is a very good day out. We got a free bus from the strip which was less than a 10 minute ride, and takes you directly outside the park. I would recommend allowing a whole day to visit Siam as the park is massive. We were there for hours and still hadn't got through it all (partly because we were exhausted and couldn't be bothered) but yeah definitely allow time to enable you to get the most out of your experience. There are more than 12 attractions; ranging from relaxing - adrenaline. They also have their own beach, restaurants and a cafe, so it's very much a full day out!

I would recommend staying in the Playas Las Americas area if you visit Tenerife, just because it has everything you could possibly need within a small radius; and caters for all. The strip has multiple restaurants, shops, bars, clubs, and a beach. So whether you are looking for a fun-filled trip, or a more relaxing one, i'm sure Tenerife will not disappoint!

In November I had the pleasure of seeing Sza and Bryson Tiller in concert at the Eventim apollo (Hammersmith). Sza was the opening act which was a real treat, to be quite honest I mainly went to see her; as did many others. She performed majority of her songs from Ctrl, along with some older material of hers. Her voice is just as amazing live, and she has great stage presence. She really interacted with the crowd, explaining influences behind certain songs and experiences she had growing up. I will definitely see her again on her return to London, hopefully on her own tour!

Bryson *rain interlude accent*

This was my second time seeing Tiller in concert and I think I enjoyed it as much as the first. He made my night by performing most of Trapsoul, despite it being the Set It Off tour for True to Self. The crowd also seemed very pleased with this, as we were all doing choir in unison! Tiller also connected with the audience in regards to his old Trapsoul tour, he reported not feeling satisfied with the performances he gave; believing that he didn't give his best. This was cute of him however I was overly satisfied with both tours lol so didn't understand his apologies. Tbh Tiller just melts my heart and I would definitely recommend seeing him in concert to anyone that hasn't already!

Hey all,

Those of you on twitter will know that there have recently been threads and discussions of people wishing to have reached a certain part of their travel bucket list, before a certain age. I have decided to set myself a realistic yet optimistic goal of visiting 30 different countries by 30. Having just turned 24 and already visited 17 countries, I believe I will be able to achieve this (God willing). I already plan to visit a minimum of 3 new countries next year, so hopefully I'll be even closer to my target soon.

Countries I have already visited:

- France (Paris)
- Spain (Alicante, Barcelona, Ibiza, Tenerife)
- Germany (Dusseldorf)
- Greece (Zante)
- Denmark (Copenhagen)
- Norway (Oslo)
- Sweden (Stockholm)
- Portugal (Lisbon)
- Holland (Amsterdam)
- Croatia (Pag/Novalja)
- Turkey (Antalya)
- Tunisia (Sousse)
- Morocco (Marrakech)
- Mexico (Cancun)
- USA (Miami, Atlanta)
- St Lucia
- Barbados

Countries I plan to visit in 2018 so far:

- Thailand
- Abu Dhabi
- USA (New York) * Not a new country
- Hungary

Have you got a travel bucket list? If so how close are you to completing it? I'd love to hear from you
